Introducing the results of the 2020 International 3-Day Novel Contest:
First Place:
Unrest by Emma Côté
Second Place:
The Crossover at Clifton Hill by Mark Southern
Honourable Mention:
Safety Behaviors by H.T. Smith
As the winner, Unrest will be published by Anvil Press. You can pre-order the 2019 winner, Just Like a Real Person by Doug Diaczuk here.
Our 2020 winner Emma Côté is from a small town in Northern Ontario, where the winters were long but the books were aplenty. As a result, she went on to study journalism, English literature and creative writing and most recently completed a postgraduate certificate in publishing. When Emma isn’t re-reading or re-writing a novel, she can be found taking walks in the forest, and asking people if she can pet their dog. Unrest will be her debut novel.
You can register for the 2021 3-Day Novel Contest, taking place over Labour Day Weekend (September 4-6th), here.
